Crawford Elementary Has Begun Using New Classroom Wing

On Monday, March 8th, Crawford Elementary pre-k and first graders began using the newest phase of a multi-stage project, the early childhood wing of the school. Principal Edwin Mason said, “These students will be the first in the district to utilize an interactive smart board. We have more lighting in the rooms. Each classroom has its own restroom.”

On Sunday, Principal Mason held a private tour, due to COVID-19, of the new wing for school board and town hall officials. Principal Mason said, “We thank our voters for supporting this awesome and historic project to make Arcadia Complex second to none. Thanks also to former Superintendent [William] Britt, former school board members, Superintendent Wysinger, and current board members.”  Arcadia’s Mayor O’Landis Millican sponsored the event.
