
Saline Bobcats Varsity fell behind early and couldn’t come back in a 16-6 loss to Weston on Monday. Weston scored on a triple by #7 in the first inning. Despite the loss, Saline Bobcats Varsity did collect six hits in the high-scoring affair. Unfortunately, Weston had nine hits on the way to victory.
Weston scored four runs in the sixth inning. #2 and #4 each had RBIs in the big inning. #7 was on the hill for Weston. The bulldog surrendered six runs on six hits over six innings, striking out ten.

Will Dison toed the rubber for Saline Bobcats Varsity. The pitcher surrendered eight runs on four hits over three innings, striking out three. Kenton Lee Crawford and Drew Golden entered the game as relief, throwing two innings and two-thirds of an inning respectively.
Shawn Staggs went 3-for-4 at the plate to lead Saline Bobcats Varsity in hits. Saline Bobcats Varsity tore up the base paths, as two players stole at least two bases. Jacob Jones led the way with three.
Weston racked up nine hits. #3, #15, and #5 each racked up multiple hits for Weston. Weston stole eight bases during the game as two players stole more than one. #15 led the way with three.
