Saline Bobcats Varsity Falls to Calvin After Sixth Inning Score

Saline Bobcats Varsity stayed in it until the end, but Calvin pulled away late in the 7-6 victory on Tuesday.  The game was tied at four with Calvin batting in the top of the sixth when #12 singled on a 3-2 count, scoring one run.  Despite the loss, Saline Bobcats Varsity collected six hits in the high-scoring affair.  Unfortunately, Calvin had nine hits on the way to victory.  In the first inning, Calving to their offense started.  #20 singled on a 1-0 count, scoring two runs.

Logan Parker toed the rubber for Saline Bobcats Varsity.  The pitcher went four innings, allowing three runs on six hits and striking out five.  Shawn Staggs threw three innings out of the bullpen.

Ethan Roberts, Jacob Jones, Drew Golden, Will Dison, Hunter Laborde, and Kenton Lee Crawford all had one hit to lead Saline Bobcats Varsity.

Calvin totaled nine hits in the game.  #12 and #30 each had multiple hits for Calvin.
