Castor Tigers Defeat Dodson Despite Allowing 5-Run Inning

Castor Tigers managed through a push by Dodson in the second inning where Castor coughed up five runs, but the Tigers still won 16-5 on Tuesday.

Castor secured the victory thanks to nine runs in the second inning. The rally was led by doubles by Dylan Waters, Caleb Shirley, and Cade Young, singles by Brenden Cox and Drake Freeman, and an error on a ball put in play by Will Bradford and Shirley.

Cox led things off on the hill for Castor. The southpaw went five innings, allowing five runs on one hit and striking out three.

The Tigers racked up 12 hits in the game. Waters, Shirley, Freeman, and Young each managed multiple hits for Castor. Shirley and Waters each managed three hits to lead Castor.
