
Saline Bobcats cruised to an easy victory over Dodson 11-2 on Monday.
In the second inning, the Bobcats got their offense started. Trey Hood drew a walk, scoring one run.
Saline Bobcats tallied five runs in the fifth inning. Saline’s offense in the inning was led by Will Dison, Drew Golden, and Hood, who all drove in runs.
Logan Parker led the Saline Bobcats to victory on the pitcher’s mound. Parker surrendered one run on two hits over two innings, striking out one. Kenton Lee Crawford threw five innings in relief out of the bullpen.
Saline Bobcats racked up ten hits on the day. Parker, Crawford, and Shawn Staggs each had multiple hits for Saline. Parker led the Bobcats with three hits in four at bats. The Bobcats stole nine bases during the game as two players stole more than one. Ethan Roberts led the way with three.
