Due to COVID-19 restrictions last year Saline was unable to host the Watermelon Festival.  The Saline Watermelon Festival committee met at Magnolia Baptist Church last night to see if they could get enough volunteers to host a festival this year.  To see the original article where they sought volunteers, click here.  The committee determined that there were enough volunteers to host a scaled down, one-day festival this year, which will be held on Saturday, July 10th.  Social media coordinator Amy Caldwell Thompson said the committed still needs more volunteers.   If you would like to volunteer to help with the festival, please visit the Saline Watermelon Festival Facebook page or click here.
