The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development advises motorists that, effective immediately, LA 154 just west of its intersection with LA 4 in the Town of Ringgold, Bienville Parish is CLOSED.

This closure is necessary due to a collapse in the roadway. DOTD is currently investigating the cause, and mobilizing to determine the appropriate repairs.

There is no timeline on when repairs will be complete, but DOTD will issue further communication when additional information is available.

Alternate route: Detour signage will be in place.

Restrictions/Permits: Total road closure at the railroad tracks. All vehicles must detour.

This work will be performed WEATHER PERMITTING.

DOTD appreciates your patience and reminds you to please drive with caution through the construction site and be on the lookout for work crews and their equipment.

Area residents should exercise caution when driving, walking, or biking near an active construction zone.
