
Bienville Parish School Superintendent, William Wysinger, has been selected as the Region 7 Superintendent of the Year. Region 7 comprises the school districts of Caddo, Bossier, DeSoto, Sabine, Natchitoches, Red River, Webster, Claiborne and Bienville.
Wysinger is humbled to be recognized by his peers of Region 7 and he contributes the success of Bienville School District to the students, faculty & staff, administrators, central office staff, board members and the citizens of Bienville Parish.
“Bienville School District is one of the finest in the state of Louisiana and this award is indicative of the hard work and dedication of the entire school system and I am truly grateful for the parents and guardians that entrust their children to us. Our goal remains to provide each and every student a quality education that will enable them to become productive citizens in our communities.”
Each of the nine regions select a candidate based on their strong leadership skills and dedication to improving educational quality in their districts. The candidates submitted their resumes to the Louisiana Association of School Superintendents (LASS) who selected one Superintendent to represent the state. The list of candidates submitted to compete for state honors represent the school districts of West Baton Rouge, Rapides, Monroe City, Evangeline and Bienville.
After careful consideration of all of the applicants, the Superintendent from West Baton Rouge School District was chosen as the “2022 Louisiana State Superintendent of the Year”.
