Students of the Year, School Board Members Recognized at School Board Meeting

On Thursday evening, at the regular meeting of the School Board, several students received awards for being students of the year.  

The students pictured above were honored at the school board meeting for being selected Parish Students of the Year for Elementary, Junior High, and Senior High.

The following students were honored at last night’s school board meeting for being selected student of the year for their respective schools.

  • Desmond Reese – Crawford Elementary,
  • Rayleigh Weaver – Castor High.

School Board members were recognized for earning continuing education credits and their service to Bienville Parish Schools.

Donald Calloway served as school board president for 2021 and was honored at the board meeting for his outstanding service to Bienville Parish Schools.  Mr. Calloway passed the gavel on to the new school board president who will preside for 2022, Sharolyn Boston.
