Workers including rodbusters, plumbers, and concrete workers have been busy building the foundation for the incoming Dollar General Store just outside of Saline on Highway 155. On Wednesday, a steady stream of cement trucks from Natchitoches arrived at the jobsite and began filling footings and forms. For most of the day, concrete workers packed and smoothed the concrete. The expected completion date of the store could not be verified prior to the publishing of this article. Take a look at the photos of the future store which were taken on September 15, 2022.
