On Saturday morning, October 1, Saline marathon runner Don Brown joined more than 120 other runners in the Red River Revel’s 5K Revel Run in Shreveport. Mr. Brown took second place in his age category and came in 28th out of 121 runners.
He completed the course with a chip time (the time from when he personally crossed the starting line to when he crossed the finish) of 25:06.2.
His gun time (the time on the official race clock from the moment the race started (when the gun went off) to when he crossed over the finish line) was 25:11.8.
His pace averaged 8:06 per kilometer.
