Saturday, November 12 was a busy day for Saline marathon runner Don Brown.

He began his day with a 10K race at the Spa Running Festival in Hot Springs National Park in Hot Springs, Arkansas.  Mr. Brown completed the race in 55:34.74 and took first in his age group.  

After the race, Mr. Brown drove to Shreveport where he competed in the Riverside V 5-mile road race.  He completed the race in 42:51.29 and took first place in his age group. 

Mr. Brown is running a half marathon this Sunday at Shreveport and then a half marathon at Lafayette next Saturday.
