The Bienville Parish School Board held a special meeting on Friday, November 11, 2022, to select an interim representative to fill the District 6 vacancy following the death of representative Dr. Larry Knotts. On election day, November 8, Christopher Colton Guin was duly elected as member of school board for District 6, a position he would have taken on January 1, 2023. For that reason, the school board unanimously passed a resolution to appoint Christopher Colton Guin as interim school board member for the remainder of the term which will end on December 31, 2022.
