Yesterday afternoon, a 6 inch water main break left the town of Arcadia with little to no water pressure. Mayor O’Landis Millican said crews were working to repair the break. “As always,” the mayor said, “thank you for your patience and understanding as we rectify this issue.”
At about 9:40 p.m., Mayor Millican reported that the issue had been fixed and that water pressure should be building back up. He issued a boil advisory due to the length of time customers went without water. “Once lab samples comes back clear,” he said, “the boil advisory will be lifted. Thank you for your patience and understanding.”
