On Saturday, December 3, Saline marathon runner Don Brown competed in the Salvation Army Women’s Auxiliary of Northwest Louisiana’s Red Kettle Run in Shreveport.  He completed the 5k race in 23:45.8 and took first place in his age group.  He came in 17th place overall out of 88 runners.
