District Attorney’s Report – 29 Defendants Plead Guilty

Daniel W. Newell, District Attorney for the Second Judicial District in and for the Parish of Bienville, makes the following announcement relative to disposition of cases in Bienville Parish on the dates indicated:

October 4, 2022

  • Jacoby Jamyia Jones of Mansfield, LA—Pled guilty to Theft of a Motor Vehicle. He was sentenced to 2 years hard labor, which was suspended. He was placed on 2 years supervised probation.
  • Demarcus Dewayne Abney of Athens, LA—Pled guilty to Distribution of Schedule I CDS-Marijuana. He was sentenced to 7 years hard labor, which was suspended. He was placed on 3 years supervised probation.
  • Jerri Bogan Hendrickson of Castor, LA—Pled guilty to Possession of Schedule II CDS-Methamphetamine. She was sentenced to 18 months parish jail, which was suspended. She was placed on 18 months supervised probation. She also pled guilty to Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. She was sentenced to 6 months parish jail, which was suspended. She was placed on 6 months supervised probation.
  • Joe Willie Johnson of Gibsland, LA—Pled guilty to 2 counts of Distribution of Schedule I CDS-Marijuana. He was sentenced to 3 years hard labor, which was suspended. He was placed on 3 years supervised probation.
  • Lavoris Renard Whitaker of Ringgold, LA—Pled guilty to Possession With Intent to Distribute Schedule II CDS-Methamphetamine. He was sentenced to 5 years hard labor, which was suspended. He was placed on 3 years supervised probation. He was ordered to pay fine and costs in the amount of $1,000.

November 2, 2022

  • Donnell Lewis Allen, Jr. of Phoenix, AZ—Pled guilty to Jumping Bail. He was sentenced to 1 year hard labor. He also pled guilty to Battery Against a Dating Partner With Strangulation and Child Endangerment. He was sentenced to 1 year hard labor. These charges will run concurrently.
  • Quintin Ladarius Bradford of Jonesboro, LA—Pled guilty to Domestic Abuse Battery and Interfering With Emergency Communication. He was sentenced to 6 months in parish jail for each charge, which was suspended. These charges will run consecutively. He was placed on 18 months supervised probation.
  • Christopher Kyle Cassel of Converse, LA—Pled guilty to Simple Burglary. He was sentenced to 7 years hard labor.
  • Andre Marquis Davis of Bienville, LA—Pled guilty to Distribution of Schedule II CDS-Hydrocodone and Distribution of Schedule I CDS-Marijuana. He was sentenced to 5 years hard labor on each count, which were suspended. These charges will run concurrenly. He was placed on 3 years supervised probation.
  • James Ray Lonidier of Gibsland, LA—Pled guilty to Domestic Abuse Battery with Child Endangerment. He was sentenced to 2 years hard labor, all but 1 year of which will be suspended. He will be placed on 2 years supervised probation upon his release. He was ordered to have no contact with the victim.
  • Jakendrick Rashad Devlin of Coushatta, LA—Pled guilty to Theft of a Motor Vehicle. He was sentenced to 2 years hard labor which was suspended. He was placed on 2 years supervised probation.
  • Christopher Gerrod Hurt of Ruston, LA—Pled guilty to Possession of Schedule II CDS-Methamphetamine. He was sentenced to 3 years hard labor, which was suspended. He was placed on 2 years supervised probation. He also pled guilty to Possession of Schedule I CDS-Marijuana and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. He was sentenced to 6 months which will run concurrent with each other.

November 9, 2022

  • Terrance Dean of Ruston, LA—Pled guilty to 2 counts of Distribution of Marijuana. He was sentenced to 3 years hard labor, which all but the time served in jail was suspended. He was placed on 2 years supervised probation.
  • Bryant Lakeith Gray of Lucky, LA—Pled guilty to 1 count Distribution of Schedule I CDS- Marijuana and 1 count of Distribution of Schedule II CDS-Methamphetamine. He was sentenced to 5 years hard labor which will run concurrently. He also pled guilty to Possession of Schedule II CDS-Methamphetamine. He was sentenced to 2 years hard labor which will run concurrently with his other charges.

December 6, 2022

  • Frances Lynn Burge of Elm Grove, LA—Pled guilty to Possession of Schedule II CDS-Methamphetamine. She was sentenced to 1-year hard labor. She also pled guilty to Illegal Possession of Stolen Things Over $1,000. She was sentenced to 1-year hard labor. These charges will run concurrently.
  • Kimberly L. Prather of Springhill, LA—Pled guilty to Possession of Schedule II CDS-Tylenol with Codeine and Possession with the Intent to Distribute Schedule I CDS-Marijuana. She was sentenced to 2 years in parish jail for each charge, which was suspended. These charges will run concurrently. She was placed on 2 years supervised probation.
  • Douglas Glen Robbins, Jr. of Ringgold, LA—Pled guilty to Domestic Abuse Battery (First Offense) and Aggravated Assault. He was sentenced to 6 months for each count, which was suspended. These charges will run consecutively. He was placed on 1 year supervised probation for each charge. These will run concurrently.
  • Cory Romond Samuel of Saddle Rock, TX—Pled guilty to Possession of Schedule I CDS- Marijuana (Over 60 LBS). He was sentenced to 3 years hard labor.

December 13, 2022

  • Calvin D. Baxter, Jr. of Gibsland, LA—Pled guilty to Theft of a Motor Vehicle and Computer Fraud. He was sentenced to 5 years hard labor for each charge, with all but 2 years suspended. These charges will run concurrently. He was placed on 2 years supervised probation.
  • Antonio Demarques Burks of Ringgold, LA—Pled guilty to Distribution of Schedule I CDS-Synthetic Cannabinoid. He was sentenced to 3 years hard labor which was suspended. He was placed on 2 years supervised probation.
  • Joe Don Causey of Bienville, LA—Pled guilty to Simple Burglary. He was sentenced to 5 years hard labor, of which all but 1 year was suspended. He also pled guilty to Possession of a Legend Drug. He was sentenced to 6 months hard labor, which was suspended. These charges will run concurrently. He will be placed on 2 years supervised probation upon release.
  • Jamieon D. Cooper of Ringgold, LA—Pled guilty to Domestic Abuse Battery-Child Endangerment and Pregnant Victim. He was sentenced to 6 years hard labor.
  • Darryl E. Deramus of Winnebago, WI—Pled guilty to Possession of a Firearm by Convicted Felon. He was sentenced to 5 years hard labor. He also pled guilty to Possession With the Intent to Distribute Schedule I-CDS (Heroin). He was sentenced to 10 years hard labor, with all but 5 years suspended. These charges will run concurrently. He will be placed on 2 years supervised probation upon release.
  • Lillian Garland of Haughton, LA—Pled guilty to Possession of Schedule IV-CDS (Clonazepam). She was sentenced to 1 year hard labor, which was suspended. She was placed on 1 year supervised probation.
  • James Christopher George of Dubach, LA—Pled guilty to Possession of Schedule II-CDS (Methamphetamine). He was sentenced to 2 years hard labor, which all but 1 year was suspended. He will be placed on 2 years supervised probation upon his release.
  • James Cade Havard of Castor, LA—Pled guilty to one count Illegal Possession of Stolen Firearms. He was sentenced to 2 years hard labor. He also pled guilty to Contributing to the Delinquency of Juveniles. He was sentenced to 6 months hard labor, which will run concurrently with his other charge.
  • Arsenio Lamar Knox of Tempe, AZ—Pled guilty to Possession With Intent to Distribute Schedule I-CDS (Marijuana) More Than 2 ½ Pounds. He was sentenced to 2 years hard labor.
  • Jessy Orozco of Dallas, TX—Pled guilty to Illegal Possession of Stolen Things $5,000 or More But Less Than $25,000. He was sentenced to 3 years hard labor, which was suspended. He was sentenced to 2 years supervised probation.
  • Roy Patterson of Bernice, LA—Pled guilty to 1 count of Distribution of Schedule I-CDS (Marijuana). He was sentenced to 5 years hard labor. He also pled guilty to 1 count of Distribution of Schedule II-CDS (Methamphetamine). He was sentenced to 5 years of hard labor. These charges will run concurrently.
