Members of Dorcheat-Bistineau Chapter Daughters of the American Revolution collaborated to donate $670 to Minden St. Jude in memory of Jarrod Tauzin, the grandson of one of the chapter members.

Minden St. Jude is a yearly event that raises money for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Minden raises more money per capita for St. Jude than any other city in the U.S.

Minden St. Jude raised over $2 million in 2022 and 2023.

Mary Beth Edwards, the chapter’s American History Chairman, volunteered to work the phones for 3 hours at the Minden St. Jude Auction.

Chapter Regent Cindy Madden and her husband Jerry donated a week in a 2 bedroom resort in Orlando for a $10 pledge in memory of their son Josh Madden.
