The Bienville Parish Fire District 4 & 5, which covers Ringgold and portions of Jamestown, were dispatched to a structure fire early Saturday morning, May 6.
According to Fire Chief Bobby Conly they were dispatched at 4:56 a.m. to a report of a structure fire close to the public boat ramp located on Bridges Road in Ringgold.
“On arrival of the first unit, crews reported a working fire with a structure on the ground,” said Cheif Conly.
The crews worked to extinguish hot spots.
There was no one on scene when the fire department arrived and no reported injuries.
Conly said, “It is unknown at this time who the structure belongs to.”
The cause of the fire or the area of origin was not able to be determined due to the fire being too far progressed by the time Bienville Parish Fire District 4 & 5 arrived on scene.
