Castor Tigers Varsity Wins Over Bossier Despite Early 6-Run Inning

Castor Tigers Varsity weathered a scare by Bossier in the fourth inning where Castor coughed up six runs, but the Tigers still won 25-9 on Tuesday.

Castor collected 19 hits and Bossier had 7 in the high-scoring affair.

Castor Tigers put up 12 runs in the sixth inning. Drake Freeman, Ethan Latour, Caleb Shirley, Cade Young, Gage Jordan, and Dylan Waters powered the big inning with RBIs.

Shirley led things off on the pitcher’s mound for Castor. Shirley surrendered nine runs on seven hits over five innings, striking out four.

Castor Tigers scattered 19 hits in the game. Freeman, Joseph Mathews, Waters, Will Bradford, Austin Cooper, Latour, and Young all managed multiple hits for the Tigers. Bradford, Waters, Mathews, and Freeman each collected three hits to lead Castor Tigers Varsity.

Final Score: Castor 25, Bossier 9
