Castor High School graduate Zakiya Johnson recently signed with Louisiana Tech’s Powerlifting team.
Zakiya was one of the members of the first Castor Tigers powerlifting squad.
Both of Zakiya’s parents were powerlifters at Tech. She will now join in the legacy.
A representative of Castor High School said, “We are super excited to get to continue watching you compete as an Irondawg!! Zakiya, good luck at Tech, and keep on lifting!!”
