Saline’s Micah Mathews Wins Holeshot at Loretta Lynn’s National Motocross Championship

Over the last week, Saline’s Micah Mathews participated in the 2021 Loretta Lynn’s Amateur National Motocross Championship which was held in Hurricane Mills, Tennessee.  Motorcycle racers from all over the world took part in the competition.

Micah competed in the 450B class and, because of his lightening fast reflexes, had the strongest start.  He was the first of the 42 racers to reach the first turn.  For this, Micah received the Holeshot Award (see video below).  He finished in 21st place overall in the 450B class.

Micah also raced in the College Class (racers aged 18-24).  Micah came in 15th place overall.

(Micah is the closest motorcycle rider to the camera as the riders make the first turn. He is wearing black motorcycle gear and riding a red motorcycle.)
