Yesterday morning, October 19, CenterPoint Energy contractors damaged a main water line in Arcadia which left many residents without water for several hours.
Water department employees worked throughout the day to repair the broken water line.
Yesterday evening, workers completed the repairs and water pressure began to return to normal.
Due to the length of time of being without water, the Town of Arcadia issued a boil advisory until the State clears water samples.
