The Bienville Parish Library – Arcadia Main hosts once again, the 2021 Annual Open House and Craft Fair and Authors Row this morning beginning at 10:00am until 1:00pm.
Finish up, or kick off your Christmas shopping with local crafters and local Louisiana authors this Friday, December 10th. There will be crocheted, embroidered items, handcrafted jewelry, quilts and quilted items, woodcraft, folk art, and handmade candles. Find delicious candy and confections, cookies, jams and jellies, and sweet and savory food items available to purchase! If you are looking for cookbooks, there will be community cookbooks available, but since COVID 19 protocols are in place, all food samples and items will be packaged and individually sealed. There is no eating or drinking in the library, so you’ll have to wait to enjoy your purchases!
This year the library has expanded its authors row. There will be local and Louisiana authors with a variety of fiction and non-fiction, children’s picture books and authors from independent publishers. Take this opportunity to discover a new author, and pick up a unique gift from a local author for the book lover in your family!
VISIT WITH US!
As in the past, the Bienville Parish Library will be providing lunch and refreshments for our shoppers and vendors. Lunch begins at 11:00am and ends around 1:00pm. We hope after you’ve done your shopping you’ll stay and enjoy lunch, and visit with friends and neighbors.
The LifeShare bus will be stationed between the Library and old courthouse to take your blood donations. Your gift could impact the life of someone you know, someone you’ll meet, or your closest loved one. If you are unable to donate, share with others, perhaps someone you know will give the gift of life!
