According to Registrar of Voters Nickie Warren, “Ballots for the Nov. 8th election were mailed Friday, Sept. 2nd, to those currently enrolled in the mail out program. Please be advised that NO PERSON EXCEPT THE IMMEDIATE FAMILY OF THE VOTER SHALL HAND DELIVER MORE THAN ONE MARKED BALLOT PER ELECTION TO THE REGISTRAR. (R.S. 18:1308.2 B) You will no longer be allowed to bring in multiple ballots!! We strongly suggest utilizing the United State Postal Service when returning your ballot.”
