Visitation for Irving Nathaniel Baggett III “Nat”, 72, of Jamestown, LA will be held Wednesday, August 16, 2023 from 5:00 – 8:00 at Rockett Funeral Home, Ringgold, LA. Nat was born January 7, 1951 in Shreveport, LA and passed away at his home in Jamestown, LA on August 6, 2023. He worked for the United States Postal Service for twenty-eight years. Nat was very proud of his heritage and loved to participate in Civil War Reenactments. He was a member of Sons of Confederate Veterans.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Irving Nathaniel Baggett, Jr and Ethel Joyce McCoy Baggett. Left to cherish his memory include his sons, Nathaniel Lee Baggett and Erin of Ringgold, LA and Christopher Ben Baggett and wife, Haley of Reno, NV; sister, Debra Baggett Woodard and husband, Dwayne of Homer, LA; grandchildren, Anna Baggett of Ringgold, LA and Gertrude “Gertie” of Reno, NV; nephew, Kyle Woodard of Homer, LA; mother of his children, Brenda Cheryl Baggett of Ringgold, LA and a number of other relatives and friends.
