See who qualified for the upcoming October elections


Qualifying for state and local elections began Tuesday, August 8 and closed Thursday, August 10. 

There are many statewide and multi-parish races taking place in this election cycle including Governor, Lieutenant Governor, Secretary of State, Attorney General, Treasurer, Commissioner of Agriculture and Forestry, Commissioner of Insurance, State Senator and State Representative. 

Locally, many elections will be taking place this upcoming October also. 

This list includes offices and those who have qualified by the closing period on Thursday, August 10.
