Voter Registration Week set to begin August 28

The Bienville Parish Registrar of Voters will be partnering with the Secretary of State, Kyle Ardoin to host the annual statewide Voter Registration Week, August 28 – September 1. 

The goal of this week is to get Bienville Parish residents registered to vote.

The Bienville Parish Registrar will be set up at the following locations to assist citizens:

Monday, August 28

Ringgold High School (9 – 9:45 a.m.)

Ringgold Branch Library (10 – 11 a.m)

Tuesday, August 29

Saline High School (9 – 9:45 a.m.)

Saline Branch Library (10 – 11 a.m.)

Wednesday, August 30

Gibsland High School (9 – 9: 45 a.m.)

Gibsland Branch Library (10 – 11 a.m.)

Thursday, August 31

Castor High School (9 – 9:45 a.m.)

Friday, September 1

Arcadia High Schoool (9 – 9:45 a.m.)

The deadline to register for the upcoming October 14 election in person or by mail is September 13. Residents can register in person at their parish Registrar of Voters Office, when they apply for or renew their driver’s license at any Office of Motor Vehicles or when obtaining services at public assistance agencies and Armed Forces recruitment offices. Citizens wishing to register by mail can download a form from the Secretary of State’s website at GeauxVote.com.

The deadline to register online is September 23. Citizens with a valid driver’s license or Louisiana Special ID card can register online 24 hours a day, seven days a week from any location by visiting https://voterportal.sos.la.gov
