Saline High School is celebrating homecoming this week. A new tradition is beginning this year with our games being the 1st annual Hall of Fame games “Paw Brawl” with Castor High School. This year, the games will be played in the Saline High School gymnasium Thursday, October 19, beginning at 6:00 p.m. Admission will be $7.00. Alumni have the opportunity to showcase their skills in an Alumni basketball game Friday, October 20, beginning with registration at 6:00 p.m. Admission will be $5.00.
Our Coronation ceremony will be Saturday, October 21, 2023, at 2 o’clock in the afternoon. Admission will be $3.00. Saline High School Seniors have been selected as King and Queen Candidates for the SHS Homecoming activities. Candidates are Bryce Davis, son of Ralph Davis, Jr. of Saline and Racheal Roncal of Jonesboro; Trenton Ledbetter, son of Colvin and Whitney Robinson of Danville; Maddox Williams, son of Noe Anderson of Arcadia and Jamie Williams of Saline; Alana Gray, daughter of Susan Gray of Lucky and Sheldrick Lard of Minden; Sydney Thomas, daughter of Paul and Lisa Thomas of Saline; and Jordan Williams, daughter of Tony and Ashley Williams of Saline.
Junior Members of the Saline High School Homecoming Court for 2023-2024 are Mason Brawley, son of Cody and Ashley Brawley of Saline; Braxton Davis, son of Ralph Davis, Jr. of Saline and Racheal Roncal of Jonesboro; Clara Mauthe, daughter of Brenden and Raven Mauthe of Saline; Jo Wilfong, daughter of Linda Wilfong and Bryce Weaver of Saline.
Saline High School Sophomore members of the Homecoming Court are La’Javion Nash, son of Lynisha and Reginald Bush, Jr. of Saline; Aiden Welch, son of Ashley Sims of Quitman and Chris Welch of Hardin, Texas; Alyssa Hollingsworth, daughter of Laurie Lyons of Pineville and Trent Hollingsworth of Bienville; and Tyla Malone, daughter of Arlisha Malone of Saline and Fredrick Martin of Jonesboro.
The Saline High School Freshman Class representatives on the Homecoming Court are Gunner Fontenot, son of Lacey Hunt of Saline and Derek Fontenot of Arcadia; Conner Roberts, son of Ryan and Haley Roberts of Fairview Alpha; Alyson Fine, daughter of Micah and Kelsey Arnold of Saline; Kacidy Sims, daughter of Yumeaka Watkins of Pine Grove and Zachary Sims of Jonesboro.
The Saline High Basketball teams have chosen as their Beau, Jer’Courtney Loyd, son of Latiffany Loyd of Jonesboro; and Basketball Sweetheart, Alazja Amos, daughter of Monterio and Angela Amos of Shady Grove.
The Saline High Baseball and Softball teams have chosen as their Beau, Bray Corley, son of Heather and Richie Kelly of Saline and Josh Murphy of Jonesboro; and Sweetheart, Jaydan Williams, daughter of Tony and Amy Williams of Saline.
