Bienville Parish Citizens,
I am honored to have the opportunity to serve you for the next 4 years as Coroner of Bienville Parish. For those of you who do not know me, I am Amanda Lindberg. I am married to Brian Lindberg and am the mother of two children. My family and I have resided in Bienville Parish for 14 years and it is where we call home!
Over the last 24 years, I have served communities as a Prehospital Care Provider, Volunteer Firefighter, Registered Nurse, Small Business Owner and most recently, Chief Deputy Coroner with the Bienville Parish Coroner’s office.
My formal education includes an Associate Degree in Paramedic Science from Bossier Parish Community College and an Associate Degree in Nursing from Southern University Shreveport. I hold the following titles with honor: American Heart Association Training Faculty, Instructor for the Louisiana State Bureau of EMS and a current member of the Coroner’s Subcommittee for the Louisiana Organ Procurement Agency.
Upon taking office, I will uphold the guiding principles of Faith, Respect, Confidentiality and Integrity. I will always strive to serve the citizens of this great parish to the best of my ability . My goal is to continue to develop the Office of the Coroner and move this public service progressively forward.
I will work with other local and state agencies to reduce morbidity and mortality rates within our parish. This office will emphasize on teaching good decision making skills to our youth so that they may make healthy choices in life that result with positive outcomes. I also intend to work toward increasing mental health resources for our communities.
Again, I look forward to serving you, the individuals and families in this Parish!
Amanda Lindberg
