The LHSAA sent out the final district plan for the 2024-2026 sports seasons.  Not much has changed for Bienville Parish teams.  The following are the districts for the local teams:

Arcadia and Ringgold will be part of District 1-A along Haynesville, Glenbrook, Plain Dealing, and newcomers Cedar Creek, Jonesboro-Hodge, and Lincoln Prep.  One slight change is that Ringgold will not be playing for the district schedule and will not be eligible for the playoffs.

Saline will make the move to District 1-C and join Gibsland-Coleman.  Summerfield and Claiborne Christian will join the two Bienville Parish schools.

Castor will remain in the same district it has been in for years in District 1-B.  The Tigers will see the same teams they have faced since the last cycle of realignment in Weston, Doyline, and Quitman.  Joining the four teams will be Lincoln Parish School Simsboro.

These districts are mainly for football, basketball, baseball, softball, and track and field.

Castor, Arcadia, and Ringgold will be in Division V-1 for Cross Country

Castor, Arcadia, Ringgold, and Saline will be in Division IV-1 for boys golf.  All four girl golf teams will be in Division II – 1.

Castor and Saline swim teams will compete in Division IV honors.
