Funeral services for Teri Lynn Sullivan Godfrey, 48, of Castor, LA will be held at 11:00 A.M., Wednesday, October 16, 2024 in Faith Baptist Church, Ringgold, LA. Officiating will be Bro. James Morgan. Burial will follow in Ebenezer Cemetery, Castor, LA.   

Teri passed away on the evening of October 10, 2024 at her home in Castor, LA.  

Teri was born in Bossier City, LA on August 14, 1976 to Tony and Peggy Sullivan of Castor, LA.

In January of 1997 Teri married Michael Allen Godfrey in Ashland, Oregon.  In January of 1999 she gave birth to Nicolas Arnold Godfrey.

Teri is preceded in death by her parents, Tony and Peggy Sullivan.  

She is survived by her husband of 27 years Michael Allen Godfrey, her son Nicolas and one sister Tilley L. Sullivan all from Castor, LA.  She also leaves many other family members and friends.

Teri was highly creative and enjoyed putting her skills to work.  Her love of all things purple was well known by everyone who knew and loved Teri.

Teri was an active member of Faith Baptist Church in Ringgold, LA where she oversaw Operation Christian Child.  In addition, she sang in the Choir and taught the ladies’ Bible Class.

Teri was a loving wife, mother, sister, and friend.  She was always available to help whenever anyone had a need.
