In Bienville Parish, veterans with a service-connected disability rating of 50% to 100% may be eligible for additional property tax exemptions beyond the standard Homestead Exemption. Surviving spouses may also qualify, provided they meet the eligibility criteria and continue to reside in the home that was owned by the service member.
