Mark those calendars: the Arcadia Christmas Festival is coming Saturday, Nov. 22.
The Schedule of Events include the parade. Line-up begins at 4pm at the Eugene Smith Events Center and starts at 5pm. The Tree Lighting ceremony will take place immediately after the parade at Henderson Jordan Park downtown.
Parade participants should arrive early for placement. Decorated floats, bands, and community groups are welcome. To register or ask questions, contact Angelica Boston at Town Hall at 318-263-8456.
Festivities at the Park will include community caroling under the lights, hot chocolate and cookies (while supplies last), and a Prize Drawing – enter for a chance to win a TV courtesy of Bienville Medical (plus possible additional door prizes).
This event is free and family-friendly—bring that holiday spirit, lawn chairs, and cozy blankets.
