Members of the Gibsland Lions Club concluded their 2025 activities by participating in the Small Town Christmas Light Dedication Ceremony held at Gibsland Coleman High School in Gibsland on Saturday, Dec. 13, 2025.

During the ceremony, the Gibsland Lions Club was recognized alongside other local organizations and individuals for purchasing a decorative pole light to be displayed in downtown Gibsland. Each donated decoration is accompanied by a plaque placed on the pole to recognize Gibsland residents, organizations, or to memorialize loved ones.

“The Gibsland Lions Club was chartered on December 13, 1928, and has been a positive influence in the town of Gibsland for 97 years!” said Lions Club President Shirley Payne.
