
Daniel W. Newell, District Attorney for the Second Judicial District in and for the Parish of Bienville, made the following announcements relative to disposition of cases in Bienville Parish in October, November, and December 2025.
October 2025
Nathaniel Coe II of Ringgold – Pled guilty to Aggravated Cruelty to Animals. He was sentenced to serve 3 years at hard labor, all but 1 year suspended. He was placed on 2 years supervised probation upon release after 1 year served.
Sharon Hudson of Minden – Pled guilty to Possession of Schedule II CDS less than 28 grams. She was sentenced to 2 years at hard labor, which was suspended. She was placed on 2 years supervised probation and required to pay fines and costs to the Bienville Parish Sheriff’s Office.
Ferris Lombas of Schriever, LA – Pled guilty to Aggravated Criminal Damage to Property. He was sentenced to 2 years at hard labor, which was suspended. He was placed on 2 years supervised probation and required to pay fines and costs to the Bienville Parish Sheriff’s Office.
Michael Strong of Ringgold, LA – Pled guilty to 2 counts of Simple Arson. He was sentenced to 3 years at hard labor on each, to run concurrently. He also pled guilty to 2 counts of Simple Criminal Damage to Property over $1,000 less than $50,000. He was sentenced to serve 2 years at hard labor on each, to run
concurrently. Both sentences to run consecutive for a total of 5 years.
November 2025
Boyd, Darci of Heflin – Pled guilty to 11 counts of Aggravated Cruelty to Animals and 1 count of Cruelty to Juveniles. She was sentenced to 5 years at hard labor on each, to run concurrently, which was suspended. She was placed on 5 years supervised probation. She cannot own animals for 10 years.
Patrick Kimble of Homer – Pled guilty to Distribution of Schedule II CDS. He was sentenced to 3 years at hard labor, which was suspended. He was placed on 3 years supervised probation. He also pled guilty to Possession of Schedule II CDS. He was sentenced to 1 years at hard labor, which was suspended. He was
placed on 1 year supervised probation. Both sentences will run concurrently.
Billy Jack Lafield of Ringgold – Pled guilty to Possession of Schedule II CDS. He was sentenced to serve 2 years at hard labor.
December 2025
Jordin Boddie of Jamestown – Pled guilty to Simple Burglary. He was sentenced to serve 292 days in the parish jail.
Charles Scott Lewis of Jamestown – Pled guilty to 2 counts of Distribution of Schedule II CDS-Methamphetamine less than 28 grams. He was sentenced to 5 ears at hard labor on each, to run consecutively, which was suspended. He was placed on 5 years supervised probation.
