City millage rates don’t always change from year to year, and in many cases, they remain the same, according to the Bienville Parish Assessor’s Office.

This comparison shown above from the 2026 Annual Bienville Parish Tax Roll Booklet shows the city millage rates for 2024 and 2025, along with the property tax revenue generated for each municipality.

While the Bienville Parish Assessor’s Office determines the assessed value of property, each municipality is responsible for setting its own millage rate. Those property tax revenues help fund local services and operations within each community.
