All the asphalt paving is officially done on the 7.5-mile stretch on LA 9 between I-20 and LA 518 in Bienville and Claiborne Parishes. Bridge guardrails are fully installed, too.

Crews are finishing up with permanent lane striping and a few minor details. Watch out for slow-moving equipment or occasional lane/shoulder closures while they wrap things up.

The whole project, which cost $11.3 million, should be completely wrapped up by September. DOTD thanks the public for their patience.
