This Saturday, Sept. 12, 10am to 1pm, the NAACP will host its Community Cafe Conversations Series #3, Civic Engagement Roundtable: Strengthening the Community’s Voice, at the Eugene Smith Events Center in Arcadia.

The purpose of this event is to identify community concerns, discuss recent policy changes affecting the community, and build a collaborative roadmap for getting voters to vote in the upcoming election season. The event will also feature special guest speaker Louisiana State Representative Rashid Young.
