On March 24, 2022, the Tigers opened track season at the Castor Invitational which hosted 13 teams at the CHS track facility. Competing teams included the following high schools: Calvary, Castor, Choudrant, Converse, Doyline, Gibsland-Coleman, Lakeside, Montgomery, Quitman, Saline, Simsboro, Summerfield, and Weston.

The Lady Tigers won the meet, and the Tigers finished 6th overall.
