Sheriff John Ballance announced the 2023 recipients of the Louisiana Sheriff’s scholarship awards for Bienville Parish on Monday, May 8. The winner and alternates were selected by a scholarship committee comprised of retired educators. The winner will be awarded a $1,000.00 scholarship upon enrolling in the fall semester of a Louisiana institution of higher learning.
The winner and alternates are as follows:
William Dison – Saline High School
Alternates:
Landrie Still – Glenbrook School – 1st alternate
Jacob E. Jones – Saline High School – 2nd alternate
