The Bienville Parish Registrar of Voters, along with Secretary of State Nancy Landry, will host the annual statewide Voter Registration Week Sept. 21-25. Voter Registration Week is aimed at helping citizens to register to vote.

The Registrar will be at the following locations this week:

Wednesday, Sept. 23, at 9am – Arcadia High School

Friday, Sept. 25, at 8am – Castor High School

Friday, Sept. 25, at 11am – Gibsland Library

Citizens with a valid Louisiana driver’s license or Louisiana Special ID card with their correct address can register online 24 hours a day, seven days a week, by visiting https://voterportal.sos.la.gov/. Louisiana residents can also register in person at their parish Registrar of Voters Office; when they apply for or renew their driver’s license at any Office of Motor Vehicles; or when claiming services at public assistance agencies and Armed Forces recruitment offices. Citizens wishing to register by mail can download and print the application from the Secretary of State’s website at https://geauxvote.com/ or complete an application found at public libraries or through registration events.
